Famous Nigerian dancer Kafayat Shafau, known as Kaffy, said she was grateful her marriage had failed.

The mother-of-two who recently opened up about her divorce had previously stressed that she had separated from her husband because their destinies did not align.

In a video Monday night, the choreographer revealed that she wanted the best for her ex-husband, Joseph Ameh, even though they were separated.

Taking it to her Instagram On Wednesday page, the dancer noted that she was grateful her marriage had failed because she was blind and could now see.

Kaffy said this while appreciating those who checked her out after her divorce announcement.

She said, “Those who know me know that I am more than a dancer. I explore all of my humanity through dance. I am a defender of human excellence and productivity.

“My marriage failed for so many reasons and I’m grateful that it failed because I was blind and now I see.

“Follow me and I’ll show you what I saw so you don’t fall like me.” And if you do, you’ll get up.

She added that she has launched a new podcast for her to share her experiences.

Kaffy added: “My truth has freed me from a lot of things that were wrongly conditioned by various elements and one step at a time I will share my mistakes, how I identified them, surviving depression, my healing process , the kind of help I’ve had, and so many life lessons I’ve learned and still learning (I will always be a lifelong learner).

“People need to know! A life there can be saved, a marriage there can be better than mine and most importantly, a second chance is always there for all of us!
