TIME Magazine will allow users to connect ETH wallets and buy exclusive NFTs
The nearly century-old US-based TIME magazine has become very crypto-loving and is now ready to allow readers to connect their wallets in order to purchase TIMEPieces – unique NFTs created by the TIME community .
TIME’s current NFT drop “Long Neckie Women”, by 12-year-old digital artist Nyla Hayes, features 1,000 artworks depicting 100 women of the year. Each NFT costs 0.125 ETH, and the coins are also made available on the OpenSea secondary market.
The NFT 100 Women of the Year Collection features portraits of the world’s most influential and inspiring women including Coco Chanel, Amelia Earhart, Anna May Wong, Eva Perón, Frida Kahlo, Billie Holiday, China Machado, Dolores Huerta , Gloria Steinem, Indira Gandhi, Tu Youyou, Diana, Princess of Wales, Madonna, Toni Morrison, Michelle Obama, Malala Yousafzai, Pussy Riot and Beyoncé.
