WAVERLY — St. Paul’s Lutheran School welcomed guests to the school’s homecoming celebration held on Saturday, July 16. Many of these guests were former students or former staff of St. Paul’s Lutheran School.
An open house featured different memorabilia, 4th grade wax museum projects and models of American monuments and memorials created by 6th graders. Guests were also invited to participate in tours offered by current students of the school. Fond memories shared by St. Paul alumni included leading school worship, trips to EWALU in Strawberry Point and Washington D.C. as part of the Capstone program, caring teachers, and lasting and lasting friendships.
