Sandy Springs will host the star performers of Neranenah, a major local Jewish music festival.
Neranenah, previously known as the Atlanta Jewish Music Festival, announced its 2021-22 festival lineup in November. At least three artists will perform at the Byers Theater, located at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center at 1 Galambos Way.
“We needed to find a suitable partner to comfortably accommodate larger crowds for our large-scale shows this season,” musician and festival executive director Joe Alterman said in a press release. “The Byers Theater is one of the city’s finest art venues and is centrally located to many different communities in Metro Atlanta, making it even easier for patrons to experience and attend the shows. festival performances. ”
Alterman will be performing at the Sandy Springs Theater on December 16 at 8 p.m. ET. American singer Michael Fernstein will perform at the theater on January 13, 2022 at 8 p.m., and the ATL collective will perform there on April 23, 2022 at 8 p.m.
“Adding Neranenah to our strong list of partners adds a wonderful musical component that makes our offerings even more comprehensive,” Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center Executive Director Shaun Albrechtson said in the press release. “The patrons requested high quality music concerts and it was natural to bond with our local friends to provide access to such awesome artists. It will be a great year with our season even stronger with the addition of Neranenah.
