“We love creating products that celebrate the uniqueness of Columbus’ beautiful neighborhoods,” says Allison Chapman, owner of Igloo Letterpress in Worthington.
Chapman collaborated with Meredith Dixon of Studio Dixon to create the new product line which features a series of maps, prints and journals that highlight the German Village and Rush Creek neighborhoods. The prints evoke the feeling of walking or living in the neighborhoods.
“We had architecture in mind and were inspired by the modern elements of Rush Creek in our own backyard and the beautiful historic homes and buildings in the German Village,” says Chapman.
Mood boards based on neighborhood architecture were paired with some of their favorite paper colors from the French Paper Company in Niles, Michigan, and the designs took off from there.
“We really like that these series have a specific sense of their central Ohio neighborhood inspiration without resorting to scarlet and gray.”
Cards are priced at $5, prints at $25, and journals at $35. The collection will most likely expand to include other neighborhoods.
