The Faribault Region Chamber of Commerce and Tourism is set to enter 2022 with a list of all of its events for the year.
The Faribault Chamber has been serving businesses in the region since 1913.
A flagship event organized regularly is Business Before Hours. The monthly meeting of the members is animated by a company chamber. 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Chamber mixers are a great opportunity to showcase your business, organize tours, and host a large chamber networking event. The host company chooses the date generally at the end of the afternoon. All Chamber members and guests as well as host business clients, friends and family are welcome to attend.

- Flannel Formal is February 5, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. The event takes place in the artisanal drink curve, it has become an annual Faribault tradition. It offers cozy flannels, hot dishes and lumberjack games.
The Chamber’s brochure states: “The Faribault Flannel Formal 2022 will undoubtedly be the unmissable event of the season!
- Business lunch at the farm, March 21, 2022, description of the Noon Room brochure:
“We pay tribute to our agricultural roots and the importance of agriculture to the economy of our region. The event will take place on the day of National Agriculture Day. A guest speaker will provide educational information about the agricultural industry.
- Business Awards Lunch is May 12, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. The brochure states:
“America’s progress has been fueled by entrepreneurs who think big, take risks, and work hard. From storefront stores that anchor downtown to high-tech industries, to large-scale retail and service businesses. Small businesses are the backbone of our economy. In the United States In the United States, 28 million small businesses create almost two in three jobs in the economy of our country; they provide jobs, stimulate economic growth and support local communities.
- The 2022 Downtown Car Cruise Nights will be on May 22, June 17, July 15, August 12, August 19, and September 19 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Held on the third Friday of each month from May to September, these events consistently draw a crowd. There are food vendors, A DeeJay provides music, prizes and rewards at every event. At the end of the summer, there is a Car Club Showdown with one club winning a “ridiculously huge trophy”.
- The Pars and Stripes Golf Tournament will take place on July 8, 2022 at noon
“Dress to impress in red, white and blue at our annual golf tournament. An afternoon away from the office is even better when combined with the camaraderie and networking with the other members of the House! “
- Blue Collar BBQ Festival takes place August 11-14, 2022
“Taste ribs made by different people in a tasting competition where you vote for your favorite. A variety of music is also presented from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. This is very fun !
- GOT de Faribault is September 15, 2022, 5:30 p.m.
“Tasting and sampling of restaurants, caterers and beverage suppliers in the Faribault region. Very busy event that reaches outside members. Widely publicized in surrounding communities. “
- Faribault MainStreet Fall Festival and Chili Cook-Off is October 1, 2022
“Offers a fun and delicious day in downtown Faribault. Fun for the whole family. This year, activities like a mural hunt, a storybook walk, a historic bench walk, a historic walking tour, business open houses and of course chili! Celebrate fall in beautiful downtown Faribault. This event attracts around 400 people each year.
- Winter festival, from December 1 to 3, 2022
“Celebrate in Faribault! Enjoy a window decorating competition, ice sculptor, singers, horse-drawn carriage rides, Santa Claus and reindeer, live music, vintage snowmobile show. Go shopping. There will be fireworks, a parade of lights illuminating the city center ”. Bundle up and dance to the dance.
