Feather River Tourism Association (FRTA) relaunches the annual Great fall blog to celebrate one of the most popular times of the year in Plumas County – the splendor of fall foliage.
Through social media, press releases, promotions, and the new website (Plumascounty.org), FRTA is bringing back the Awesome Autumn Fall Promotion that was started by the Plumas County Visitors Bureau ages ago. many years, but has not been actively marketed since 2015. Included are some past fall photos from around the county.
The awesome fall blog will be updated weekly with current fall color conditions, different locations, and how to enjoy your leaf. FRTA invites you to help display our awesome fall by sending in current photos that can be posted to update the blog weekly.
Please include with photos the date and location they were taken and how the photo should be credited. Photos can be emailed to [email protected] . If you need additional information, please call 530-736-6188.
New autumn brochures will be available at the end of September and will be available from many accommodation providers or B&B Bookseller/Cravings in Chester, Gigi’s in Crescent Mills and Quincy Provisions in Quincy. The brochure has been redesigned from the original by Shelley Hunter, owner of the Quincy Feather Bed Inn.
