Artist collective in Elk

The Artists’ Collective in Elk is a group of 30 artists spanning Fort Bragg in the north and Sea Ranch in the south, all gathered in the sweet town of Elk.

Mendocino artists’ cooperative

The first show of the new year at the Mendocino Artists’ Co-operative features photographer Shanti Balse with a focus on “Changing Perspectives”. Visit the gallery to see his exhibition from January 5 to 31. The cooperative is located at the corner of Kasten and Albion streets in Mendocino. Highlight the Mendocino gallery

Everywhere you look in this gallery is a feast for the eyes. Showcasing beautiful furniture, artwork, and the finely crafted work of over 200 artists, including jewelry, ceramics, shoots, sculptures, textiles, and more. The Highlight Gallery is open daily from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in its new location at 10480 Kasten St., on the corner of Kasten and Ukiah. Lansing Street Gallery

The Lansing Street Gallery features the work of Larry Keenan, an internationally renowned photographer from the San Francisco Bay Area. He photographed the last days of the Beat Generation. A selection of his work “Beat Era” is in the permanent collection of the Archives of American Artists at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC. The prints from this collection have been out of circulation since his death in 2012. They are offered here, exclusively with the Lansing Street Gallery, by his daughter, Chelsea Keenan. Mendocino Art Center

Exhibition with jury of members at the Mendocino Art Center from January 7 to February 26, 2022. The gallery store and exhibitions are now open every day from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. In-person classes have resumed and online classes will continue to be offered.

Partners gallery

New show: “Three letterpress printers walk into a shed: the renegade letterpress work of Felicia Rice, Theresa Whitehill and Zida Borcich.” The show will take place from January 6 to March 6, 2022. Meet the Artists will take place on January 8 and February 12, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A talk by Peter Koch, CODEX Foundation, will take place on Saturday February 12 from 4:40 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Partners Gallery is located at 45062 Ukiah Street, in Mendocino.
