It’s booming Carnegie Hall looks forward to a busy weekend of summer shows.

The recently released OnFife brochure reveals a season full of shows, exhibitions and events taking place in the Kingdom.

In Dunfermline, musical theater fans can expect Ansell’s Les Musicals this Sunday, as well as Big: The Musical next week.

As press reported last week, the new version of the classic 1988 Tom Hanks film will be performed by Dalgety Bay Players on location from next Thursday (June 30) and July 2.

And comedy fans are in for a good laugh as stand-up comedian Larry Dean takes the stage Saturday night.

Heather Stuart, Managing Director of OnFife, said: “There is nothing better than the excitement and buzz of live entertainment. We are delighted to welcome customers back to our cinemas.”

The Musicals celebrates the musical theater genre, hosted by G4 frontman Jonathan Ansell and Britain’s Got Talent winner Jai McDowall.

Also at Carnegie Hall this weekend is Frankenstein, from the Dunfermline Dramatic Society, from tonight (Thursday) until Saturday.

This year will also see the Hall host Jekyll and Hyde, by the Isosceles Theater Company on September 2, and a 30th anniversary performance by Dalgety Bay’s Dance Academy on September 24.

Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries currently hosts the Art-Tastic Family Exhibition throughout the summer months.

Ms Stuart added: “It’s great to be back and with these summer nights stretching ahead of us, what better time to get out and enjoy some fantastic entertainment again.”

Audiences can get a great deal on tickets to all shows with multi-buy deals for anyone purchasing three or more tickets.
